Mediolanum Investment Academy (MIA) is a 24-month paid programme designed for those aspiring to build a career in asset management. Launched successfully in 2022, the programme is now in its fourth edition for 2025.
As a participant, you'll join our Investment Performance team and contribute to various projects, gaining hands-on experience across different departments. Despite our growth, the team remains agile, allowing you to collaborate closely with seasoned investment professionals and gain exposure to a wide range of asset classes and investment strategies.
Throughout the programme, you'll receive mentoring and support from key decision-makers, helping you build a strong foundation in investment and accelerate your professional development. At the end of each rotation, your performance will be evaluated based on your contributions, teamwork, and growth. High-performing participants may be offered a permanent role within the Investment Team, ideally aligned with their preferred area.

Key Benefits when joining the Mediolanum Investment Academy
We’re looking for 5 outstanding candidates.
You could be one of them if you have:
• A Bachelors (Hons) Degree in a relevant field such as finance, science, economics, or mathematics.
• A strong interest in investment markets and a high degree of proactivity.
• Ability to understand and communicate the key risks stemming from investment strategies.
• Numeracy and accuracy as a pre-requisite as is the ability to work to deadlines in a team based environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and communication skills (both oral and written).
• Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct and Style Analytics is an advantage.
• CFA Qualified or in the process of obtaining CFA is highly advantageous.
• Masters/ PHD qualifications are a distinct advantage.
The Recruitment Process:
